Sometimes I’m pretty slow on the uptake and forget that these are supposed to be posted on Fridays, not Saturdays. I have no excuse. I’m really in love with these four songs right now, especially the one by Mighty Oaks. Give it a listen.

This weekend blew by again far too fast for my liking. I laid in bed for the greater part of Saturday, but at some point I decided to put some pants on and go outside. To the Common. Where there’s alcohol. It was great, except for the part where I had to drive to Calgary the next morning at what felt like the crack of dawn. (But it actually was because I watched the sun rise!)
Here are my insta-highlights from the past couple of days.
This weekend I played, I laughed, I sang, I danced.
I got to see my favourite little man on Friday. Heartbreaker I tell you, this boy’s a heartbreaker.
Saturday night called for birthday dinners and far too much booze. But not for me of course, I was the picture of sobriety.
Just kidding, I played a game with the boys and tried to hold everyone’s hand that walked by me at the bar. I thought I was hilarious.
Today was left for shovelling, sleeping off hangovers, and debriefing with friends.
