Christmas came late this year. And when I mean this year, I actually mean postponed till January. We’re only a week or two late, right?
Regardless, me friends and I finally all got together for our Secret Santa Exchange/Potluck and it was fantastic. The food for the potluck half of our soiree was delish, and we ate until our bellies were full and deep breathing exercises after dinner were necessary.
Renee also brought cupcakes and was pretty adamant of which one we could, and couldn’t have.
Finally we moved from the table to the living room where the presents awaited.
We did a Chinese gift exchange and everyone was allowed to steal someone else’s present. Presents were flying right, left, and center. To sum it up: friendships were left at the door and animosity ensued.
At one point, I went to the bathroom and heard “Pony” by Ginuwine come on. I giggled and assumed that someone was getting a lap dance.
Yep. Nicole’s birthday was a few days earlier and she MUST want one everyone decided.
Silly family pictures were taken and then once everyone was sufficiently liquored up, we headed out for a night on Whyte.
PS. Jordyn and Nicole wore the same outfit.
